Shenzhen Dragons First Training Session For 2010
A great session last night and a decent turn out for the first session of the year! I think I saw Herve smiling at one stage so it must have been OK! A big thanks to the Shekou lads Herve, Fred and Reyan for travelling to Futian and to the walking wounded who came to provide support. Coach Conor did a great job of humiliating and demoralizing us. Cheers! We had 15 guys out training, not bad but next week we need 20. Talk you your mates and to the lazy Dragons who weren’t there- you know who you are- and get everyone out. We only have five sessions before our first game against the Guangzhou Rams on Feb 27th. We need to be fit, well practiced and in numbers if we want to have a chance of retaining the Guangdong Cup.
Turning up for training and winning rugby matches makes women throw themselves at you. Additionally, you get muscles like Johnny, you become very wealthy and gain a celebrity status throughout the land… kind of like Alex Chen but a little more like Jackie Chan!
Hong Kong 7′s tickets go on sale tomorrow and can only be bought over the phone or internet. The web site will be jammed so phoning is a better option. You will need to keep calling until you get through as the lines will be very busy. You will also need to give them a Hong Kong address and phone number; just use a mate’s or a colleague’s as this is meaningless and you pick your tickets up in person.
To ensure the widest possible distribution of tickets individual purchases will be restricted to a maximum of two per person. Tickets will be available through Hong Kong Ticketing’s online booking service and telephone hotline. Details are as follows:
