David Laris; Keeping Busy

In 2010, Chef-Restaurateur-Entrepreneur David Laris and his consultancy team, DLC are keeping busy more than ever.

Whilst DLC continues as F&B consultants for the Australian and USA Expo Pavilions as well as appointed F&B consultants for Swire Hotels across Beijing and HK, the team will also open four new restaurants within Expo Village over the coming months.

Keep your eyes and ears open for the coolest and quirkiest-named eateries including “The Pie Hole,” paying homage to everyone’s favourite home-grown snack-cum-meal; “The Funky Chicken,” the newest home for marinated mouth-watering chicken; “Yucca,” contemporary Mexican; and a second “The Fat Olive,” Shanghai’s only Greek mezze/wine bar with famed alfresco terrace.

Recently, DLC announced their collaboration with URBN Hotels having been commissioned to create a brand new line-up of F&B options within the eco-friendly hotel. Being the all-rounder, Laris confirms he is also consulting for Urban 18, Shanghai first indoor golf club/contemporary sports bar.
