Yew Chung International School of Shanghai was founded in 1993 and has four growing campuses in prime locations within Puxi and Pudong to serve the expatriate community in Shanghai. The school accepts students from 1 years old (Kindergarten 1) up to 18 years old (Year 13) and has over 1,900 students from 45 different countries and regions.
Several decades ago YCIS pioneered and has since developed an Early Childhood Education programme for students 1 to 4 years old. Our international curriculum for Years 1 to 9 is based on the National Curriculum for England. In Years 10 and 11 we offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme and for Years 12 and 13, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Our graduates attend some of the most prestigious universities around the world.
