China to do railway projects in Argentina
China and Argentina signed contract to do railway projects in this south American Country in the amount of US$10 Billion.
A total of ten projects all ranging from two to five years was agreed upon, plus a purchase of a Chinese railway technology and investments of an Argentinian rail lines. Agreements were singed in the presence of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner and Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu, the rest of the contract agreements will be sign after talks between Kirchner and Hui.
Kirchner praised the signing of what she called important deals between the Argentine Government and several Chinese firms for the improvement of her nation’s railways. Since relations between Beijing and Buenos Aires have been strained in the past several months, since China imposed restrictions on soybean oil from Argentina.
