CCIFC:Chongqing City of the Future
As you may know, the Embassy of France’s Trade Commission – UBIFRANCE and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China joined their hands to organize a series of four business trips in second tier Chinese cities with high economic development potential. The first two trips of the “China, Cities of the Future” event, which took place in Xiamen on March 25-26 and Tianjin on April 14-15, were a great success and attracted a group of 30 companies in each city.
The third business trip will take place in Chongqing on September 16-17 and the last in Dalian on November 8-9. Chongqing, which signed its first sister-city agreement with the French city of Toulouse in 1981, is currently enjoying unprecedented economic growth. In 2009, its annual GDP grew by 14.9 % compared with 8.7% nationwide. The commercial industrial and technological opportunities are real for French companies, especially in the areas of sustainable development, infrastructure, urbanism, industrial manufacturing and consumer goods.
Each participant will benefit from our Chongqing City of the Future business trip thanks to a tailored-made program of individual meetings, networking events, high-level technical seminars and the participation of key decision-makers from the political and business circles.
At the local level, Chongqing City of the Future has received the full support of BO Xilai, Secretary General of the Chongqing’s Communist Party and HUANG Qifan, Chongqing’s Mayor.
Please find attached the brochure of our event Chongqing City of the Future. Our team is at your full disposal to make your trip the most successful: Vincent HUYNH ( email@example.com ), Guillaume BONADEI ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) and Paul d’AZEMAR (email@example.com ). The deadline is August 15th .
