City to fill labor shortage
A report made the Shenzhen Human resources says that the number of people looking for jobs have increased to 30 percent this year, thus decreasing labor shortage.
Demand for labor in the manufacturing industry accumulates 48 percent of the city’s total demand, and with the raising of the minimum wages also attracted job hunters to fill demands. The increased demand was due to the factories in the special Economic Zone. This also increased the demand in the service and planning industry. With a total of 6.3 million graduates, the city hopes to fill the labor shortages. However labor demands from telecommunications, finance and real estate industries have decreased.
