Burger King opened a new restaurant in the Tianli Mingcheng Shopping Center on July 23. The Shenzhen Home of the Whopper is located directly across from Starbucks in the Coastal City mall in Nanshan.

They were handing out VIP cards that provide a 15% discount earlier this week. The Whopper with Bacon and Cheese is excellent, true to taste – - – and they were offering free salad’s with every meal!

This is the first store in South China since it entered major cities such as Beijing, Hangzhou, and Xiamen. The fast food chain enjoys equal popularity with other chains like McDonald and KFC that opened in China, Burger King was founded in Miami in 1954 considered as the second largest fast food company its operates at least 12,000 restaurants in the United States alone. Burger King have already 33 restaurants in China. Opening the new restaurant in South China marks its expansion in the Chinese market and will continue to market outside of Shenzhen in time for the upcoming Shenzhen Universiade.

  1. Man, finally good fast food burger place, if fast food can be good. It’s the best experience among Western franchises. Same taste, build your burger….mmmm. I wish all Macdonalds’ restaurants be replaced by BK.
