Algae causes beach closure
A harmful algal bloom covering almost an are of 15 square meter sea are led to the closure of Damsieha beach in the Yantian district.
Also known as red tide, its an algae that makes the sea look red, the tide was considered not toxic, but beach closure was still implemented for it might cause allergic reactions to swimmers or beach goers. Authorities are on the lookout for any signs of dead fishes.
