Students mixed feelings on leaving Shenzhen

International students involved in the cultural exchange program wanted to stay longer, and experienced more activities in Shenzhen.

Students liked their stay in Shenzhen stating it was different from their home country and its one experience that they would never forget, with some wanting to study in Shenzhen in the future. 28 students ranging from the United States, Togo and South Korea were in Shenzhen on a one week cultural exchange program are scheduled to leave this Friday after doing activities visiting cultural spots and witnessing the Universiade countdown.

During their stay with their sponsor families the students had their chance in building their friendship with Shenzhen students, one student felt at home saying the family was friendly and he felt very comfortable. He was shown around the city, and ate a lot of delicious Chinese food especially prepared for him.

Before leaving the international students together with some Shenzhen students painted at least 30 pictures and created on big picture expressing their own concept of a low carbon global village.
