Green IT Forum
The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and China Cleantech Focus invite you to attend the upcoming Green It Forum on Tuesday, August 31 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Puxi.
Green IT is defined as using computer resources in an efficient way, from an environmentally friendly production process to encouraging IT departments to consider “greener” options such as virtualization, power management and approved recycling habits.
The world is in the midst of a major digital transformation where every industry, from education to transportation and energy to healthcare, is being fundamentally changed by IT. This period of digital transformation not only produces significant benefits from increases in productivity and quality, it has potential to create significant environmental benefits. Information technology plays a critical role in creating a green economy.
This unique half-day forum will discuss topics which will range from how to develop a customized Green It strategy, to implementing this strategy and the rewards associated with Green IT.
