Shenzhen to celebrate its 30th year anniversary
According to Ted Rule an Australian who lived in China for almost 40 years, Shenzhen have already develop a financial industry that is gradually gaining recognition from global financial professionals. Ted Rule was one of the financial expert who help established the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in the 1990’s.
When Rule found out about Shenzhen when he was traveling to Hong Kong from Beijing. Shenzhen was a small town then, and when i started investing in Shenzhen my friends thought that I was crazy. They said China already had a financial center namely Shanghai. Everything changed when Shenzhen gradually emerge over the past decades noting the city’s competitiveness. Rule hopes the city will build more universities and improve their border checkpoints, adding more signs and directions in English will help attact international visitors to the city.
In 30 years, Shenzhen have turn itself from a small town into a metropolis, and the city will be celebrating it’s 30th anniversary on Thursday.
