Australia to join small and medium enterprise fair
300 Australian small and medium enterprises are set to participate in the 2010 China SME fair in Guangzhou this coming September. China chose Australia to co host the affair and is organized the Austrade and Australian Trade Commission. The fair will feature food and beverage, finance, corporate training, clean technology and consumer goods.
The fair hopes to develop relationships between Shenzhen and Australia to seek better opportunities and cooperation with Australian companies. Australian SME’s will display their wares and services in the Australian Pavilion with 220 booths. The organizing committee only planned for 100 slots but due to the large about of applicants they raised the slots to accommodate all interested Australian Companies.
Austrade will then organize a Night of Australia for 1,000 guests to start the Australian pavilion with collaboration with L’oreal Fashion Festival to host the event. During the fair, the China-Australia Green Building and Eco-City Forum will be launched. To promote Australian green building and Eco-city capabilities at national and regional levels.
