The three schools that will have open primary classes for students are Shenzhen Tsinghua Experimental School, Beijing University Nanshan School and Yaohua Experimental School. The schools are expecting around 100 enrolees from Hong Kong.

More than four thousand children of Hong Kong families are now studying in Shenzhen schools and the Hong Kong government is discussing new policies for opening high schools to mainland students.
