Shenzhen University enrolled 6,500 students

Around 6,500 students registered at Shenzhen University, 146 them were students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Same number of students that registered last year. 80 students from Kashgar also enrolled in the University after the Ministry of Education designated Shenzhen University to admit them.
Students that enrolled form areas outside Guangdong Province had NCEE scores higher than the entrance admission scores from key universities. The highest score garnered by science students was 657 and 619 for the art students. And due to the increasing number of students being admitted to colleges that university now can’t provide accommodations to at least 1,400 students, students are asked to find their own accommodation for at least a year while the 17 story dormitory building that can accommodate 10,000 students is being built and expected to be finished by August next year.
Free bus routes have been provided to students living far from the university to help them commute every day.
