Four more liaison offices set up to cater overseas recruitment

After the first liaison office was open in Silicon Valley, Shenzhen is set to open up four more liaison offices overseas to cater jobs for overseas high caliber professionals. The four offices will be set up in North America, Japan, Europe and Australia and will provide information and consultation services for overseas professionals.

With a total of 2,600 vacancies available for recruitment for overseas professionals, plus 337  in local enterprises. Jobs offered were in the fields of electronic information, internet, finance and securities, energy development and bio-medicine. These jobs are offered by local companies including big named manufacturers like ZTE and BYD. Shenzhen’s high-tech and high-end services recently have been dependent on work done by high-caliber overseas professionals.

After the establishment of the four liaison offices, the city government is planning to open more offices in other countries to help promote Shenzhen to overseas professionals.
