Consumer prices continuous to rise
Shenzhen experienced a 3.7 percent yearly rise on its consumer price index, this resulted in food price increases. City food price increased an average of 7.7 percent a month. Cereals prices rose 13 percent, meat and poultry rose by 6 percent. continuous
Prices of fresh eggs almost when up to 20 percent in August, food were not the only things that experienced price increases. Cigarettes, clothing, home medical apparatus and entertainment also increased their prices the National Bureau of Statistics said.
The only thing that didn’t increase their prices were vegetables, transportation and telecommunication, they even decreased last month. Mobile phone prices fell down almost 21 percent last month. Shenzhen consumer price index increased a total of 2.9 percent higher compared to the same period last year.
