Traffic rules to ensure a peaceful Mid-Autumn festival
Shenzhen traffic police will be giving out information on the traffic guidance and controls that is necessary in major public parks and business areas in preparation for the night of the mid-Autumn festival this coming Wednesday.
Traffic police will be opening up a special lane alongside Binhai road near Mangrove Ecological Park to make way for visitors to park their vehicles and enjoy the moon on the night of the festival. One lane in Sungang road will also be opened to allow visitors to park their vehicles and gain access to Lianhua hill and Bijia hill. Traffic control will also be imposed on roads going to Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens. Supervision is also imposed to violators of offenses such as drunk driving, speeding and overloading of vehicles.
Traffic officers will also be extending their work hours to help guide traffic, especially around major department stores. During the 3 day holiday traffic police suggest holiday participants to use public transport to get to popular attractions to lessen the traffic congestion and minimize problems in finding areas to park their vehicles.
