Flights out of Shenzhen are sold out
Airline flights leaving Shenzhen going to other major cities during the national holidays were sold out. With more than 40,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport during the National Day and Mid-Autumn festival holidays. 20 percent above the average travel within the same period last year.
Tickets to Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Sanya, Changsha and Guilin were either selling fast or sold out. Travel to Taiwan was also popular this year and fares were rising fast since demand was high. Sources expects 1,500 people to cross the border to take the flights from Hong Kong and Macau. Travelers are advised to keep an eye on their luggage to minimize theft, and to check the weather and their flight information on their departure day.
