China Hi-Tech Fair moved to November to give way to the National Day Holidays
The 11th China Hi-Tech Fair has been moved to November 16 to 21. The fair is usually held in October, but this years it coincides with the eight day National Day holidays. Starting this year the China Hi-Tech Fair will be held in November to give way to the National Day holidays.
Fifteen foreign countries have confirmed that they will be sending delegations to the fair, likewise the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, and Chinese Academy of Science have also expressed intentions in joining the fair. All provinces, regions and municipalities except Hainan and Qing-Dao that are directly under the Central Government, will be showcasing the technological achievements. Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan have also organized delegations that they will be sending to the fair to also demonstrate their technological advancements.
this year’s Ministers Forum will have the theme of Development of Emerging Industries and Economic Growth. Six ministers from Finland, Israel, Vietnam, and Hungary have already confirmed that they are attending the forum, while five ministers from some countries have expressed their intentions in participating in the forum.
