Shenzhen Culture Week starts today
Shenzhen Culture Week will be opening in Beijing today marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Exhibitions will include an orchestral concert in the Beijing Concert Hall today.
Fine arts exhibition will be held at the National Art Museum today up to the 20th and a graphic design exhibit at the School of Fine Arts and Design at Qinghua University also starting today till the 20th. The first half of the Concert will consists of songs composed by Shenzhen Musicians, then the second half will be Western Classical music.
The art exhibition will include 50 Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, sculptures, and other installations coming from collections from museums around the city or new creations made especially for the exhibit. Visitors will get to see 80 works from the Graphic designs in China. Shenzhen held lots of art exhibit and concerts in the past, but the Culture week is the first of its kind that the city government have ever organized.
