Fine arts exhibit at the Guan Shanyue Art Museum
The 11th China National Fine Arts Exhibition opened at the newly renovated Guan Shanyue Art Museum. Shenzhen is part of a showcase of China’s accomplishments in the field of design over the past three decades.
The fine art exhibition is divided in to 10 different sections with categories like Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, watercolor and pastel drawing with ten cities chosen to host each different divisions. The exhibit features candidates from 3,000 entries from different parts of the country and covered the four major categories, namely graphic design, fashion, industrial, and environmental design. 57 entries were from Shenzhen designers a visiting director of a Berlin based architecture and design company found the exhibit impressive, he said in all the exhibit he saw and visited this exhibit impressed him with the high quality of prize winning works that were placed on exhibit.
The 11th fine arts exhibition is part of a cultural activity celebrating the founding of the People’s republic of China.
