A Talk on Promoting Global Brands in an Assertive China
AustCham Shanghai in conjunction with BritCham Shanghai invites you to a talk about promoting global brands in assertive China on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at the Westin Bund Center Shanghai.
Increasingly nationalistic consumers, government procurement initiatives and the drive for local innovation in China are making European managers increasingly worried about whether or not there is still a place for global brands in the Chinese market. In this climate, how can companies market their products successfully?
In this talk, marketing and communications professional Johan Björkstén shares insights and case studies drawn from over 20 years of local market experience. The presentation will provide concrete guidelines for what multinational corporations can do to ensure long-term success in an increasingly assertive marketplace.
About the Guest Speaker:
Johan Björkstén is a serial entrepreneur who has started several companies in China over the last 20 years. He is currently founder and chairman of Eastwei Relations, one of the largest local PR and marketing agencies in China with more than a hundred consultants at offices in four cities.
