Hi-Tech Fair ended with a record number of visitors
The 12th China Hi-Tech Fair ended yesterday with a record of 525,000 people visited the exhibition. The fair attracted 2,450 investors and 2,800 exhibitors coming from 49 countries including Russia, Hungary, Germany and Finland.
To date the 12th China Hi-Tech Fair is the largest fair, having the most investors most exhibitors and visitors. 12,000 journalists from around the world were at hand to report the events and happenings during the fair. A variety of forums and meetings were held during the event, speakers ranging from ministers, entrepreneurs from leading enterprises had speaking engagements that attracted a lot of interested participants and visitors.
Such fairs are platforms for Chinese enterprises to penetrate the international markets and serves as channels in which foreign companies to expand their business networks domestic and international. The China Hi-tech Fair was successful in its overseas versions in Hungary and Israel last June, this prompted more countries to show interest in holding fairs in the future.
The next China Hi-Tech Fair is scheduled to be held in Shenzhen.
