Private jet base to open at Shenzhen airportDeer Jet Airlines, a business aviation company is the only private plane base in China, will be opening its base at Shenzhen Airport. the base was former helicopter terminal located between the airport terminal B and Shenzhen Airport Logistics Park.

According to airport officials demand for private business flights soared in recent years, an estimated 222 number of planes entered and left Shenzhen this year. aside from Deer Jet six more airlines will also open private jet services in Shenzhen are Beijing Trans-Asia Handling Co., Shanghai Foreign Aviation Service Corp., and a Hong Kong based Asia United Business Aviation. Deer Jet FBO is a fixed based operator, provides services to general aviation aircraft. They offer services like refueling, parking, flight training, aircraft rental and hangar storage.

Before the end of this year Deer Jet will expand its number of aircraft from 23 to 35 planes to take advantage of the fast growing commercial business aviation market. Private planes became extremely popular with China’s rich with 2,000 billionaires that are planning to purchase private planes for their travels.

But due to strict restrictions on aviation, the number of jets in China is small. Aviation experts that these conditions will change when business aircraft are accepted as travels means by Chinese executives.
