Shenzhen police to stage open day

Shenzhen police to stage open dayShenzhen police at the police training School in Futian district will be staging their fifth open day on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. they will showcase the work of special operatives such as hostage negotiators, rescue teams and SWAT.

Shenzhen police encourages residents to participate, since it would be the first time the police will be opening up sub venues in each district. Traffic police will also be setting up booths an display areas at the square fronting the Children’s palace. To enhance awareness of fire safety, the fire department will also stage a fire extinguishing competition, a mock escape from a fire, and will be asking residents to try their fire chute. Parking will be limited at the main venue, visitors are allowed to park their cars temporarily along the roads by Qiaocheng East and both sided of Qiaoxiang Road.

No dogs are allowed and police recommend residents and visitors  to take buses or take Metro Line 1 to reach the police school.
