Inspirational speaker visited Shenzhen during speaking tour of ChinaAustralian Nick Vujicic, was born without arms or legs, but have come to terms with his life. He was in Shenzhen to deliver an inspirational speech to its residents. In a large gathering of audience at the Civic Center, Nick said treat your weakness and obstacles as opportunities to make progress. You will never know what is around the corner if you don’t turn it.

Vujicic, dressed in a black suit and blue shirt smiled throughout his speech, sharing experiences, encouraging people not to give up hope when they encounter difficulties. The eloquent speaker didn’t attempt to hide his disability but instead had close ups of his body on big screens in a hall filled with hundreds of people. He even laid down on a desk and stood up using his head, telling people all things are possibles if you try. Vujicic delivered his speech with humor getting repeated applause from his audience. At one point one child asked him what caused his disability he replied cigarettes, he thinks it has an effective way to encourage children not to smoke.

At the age of 17 Vujicic established a nonprofit organization, Life Without Limbs. He have already traveled to 20 countries giving speeches on subjects like disability, hope and finding meaning in life. Vujicic visit to Shenzhen is the last stop of his speaking tour of China, giving speeches in Beijing and Shanghai before coming to Shenzhen. His speech was also broadcast live on the internet by Tencent, one of organizers of Vujicic tour of China. Vujicic also opened a mircoblog on the Tencent website to share life experiences and was visited by 250,000 people and counting.
