Companies to invest in the Qianhai area
Twenty companies for Hong Kong have already signed agreements to invest in the Qianhai area in Shenzhen, during a conference held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference was organized by the Shenzhen government to discuss the overall development plan between Shenzhen and Hong Kong Cooperation.
Modern service industries in the Qianhai needs companies and talent to invest in the 15 square kilometer area in the Nanshan District. State Council have already approved a general development plan in August. Qianhai is built in the strategic plans in South China, and the plans includes a platform for Hong Kong companies and professionals who wants to grabs opportunities in Shenzhen and the Mainland.
The Qianhai area is divided in areas that will accommodate different needs of companies. The central commercial district will be used for company headquarters, the bonded port area is for modern logistics, shipping and supply chain management. The general industries area accommodates supporting business and seaside leisure area is assigned for residential and leisure facilities.
The Qianhai project is considered a breakthrough in the Shenzhen Hong Kong cooperation, and Hong Kong will be involved in the proposals, discussions, and policy studies. The city develops a special policy that will support regulations to facilitate service industries in hopes to attract leading companies throughout the world to do business in Qianhai.
