Run,Gecko,Run! The Cambodian episode
Racing through temples, pushing through crowds, stopping at nothing to reach the seemingly unattainable…You were expecting Laura Kroft, but no, it was 6 SIS teachers on their way to accomplishing their goal of running the Angkor Wat half marathon.
Taking on a new challenge, Elizabeth Cho, Rachel Brooker and Sarah Leonardis completed their first 21 k race. Allyson Hominski, Marianne Yong-Macdonald and Alicia Ngaropo-Tuia returned for another opportunity to conquer a half marathon. These brave teachers spent months training for the event. They joined over 3,000 runners from all over the world to raise money to bring artificial limbs for mine survivors and save youth from HIV/AIDS.
Congratulations SIS teachers!
