Consumers complaints recovered 11 million yuan in losses
Shenzhen Consumer Council have recovered losses of around 11 million yuan for consumers this year after getting 12,000 complaints 70 percent higher compared to last year. based on an annual consumer complain report was based roughly on various categories and the nature of complaints.
Most of the complaints received was about services, appliances and daily commodities also went up 30 percent doubling last year’s figures. Major complains involved internet, telecommunications, mobile phones and tourism. Most of the complains were resolved the the Shenzhen Consumer Council. On the other hand complaints regarding online shopping went down 10 percent compared to last year’s report.
Complaints on telecommunications services tripled and most complaints were about alteration of telephone packages and promotions. Consumers were not satisfied with one sided clauses, unreasonable service charges and services of financial organizations.
