Travelers can purchase tickets in advance
Shenzhen Railway Station will be setting counters at two places one in North Railway Station and the other in West Railway Station in the nearby Xuefu Road. Travelers can book their tickets ahead of the holiday travel season. Offices will open from from 8 am, up to midnight in January 10 to 16 and for 24 hours after January 17. This is for the anticipation of vacationers coming home for the Spring Festival.
Tickets that are uncollected will be sent back to outlets and counters in stations for resale. Shenzhen Railway Station transport around 1.44 million passengers during pre festival which is an increase of 5 percent on 38 long distance trains and 18 temporary trains. Travel peak happens between January 23 and 30.
Metro and bus companies is extending service hours and will intensify intervals of departures, Shenzhen Railway Stations will erect temporary shelters for passengers. Shenzhen transport commission ordered long distance buses to stop at Pazhou station for passengers waiting for trains in Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center before heading to their destinations. Other buses are to inform passengers to take free rides to Pazhou Station after they got off bus terminals.
Travelers will not be able to take the high speed rail from Shenzhen to Wuhan since there is a delay on the Shiziyang Tunnel Project, this also delayed the scheduled opening of the North Railway Station before the Spring Festival.
