Taiwanese Choir and Symphony Orchestra to Stage a Concert in ShenzhenThe Taiwan Yuen-Yin Audio-Visual Publishing Company choir and symphony orchestra will be performing at the Shenzhen Concert Hall on Saturday, Jan. 15.

The choir which was established in 2001, have held annual concerts at the Taiwan theater and concert hall since 2006. They have attracted more than 10,000 audiences in Taiwan and have also performed in Singapore and Hong Kong. The symphony orchestra was founded in 2006. The choir and orchestra members are all music teachers and students from schools and colleges in Taiwan.

On Saturday, they will perform several classic Chinese songs such as “Moon in the Sky”, “Acacia”, “White Lily” and “Moonlight.”

Leading tenor Teng Chi-long and soprano Tiffany Fu, teach singing in universities and have won several gold awards at competitions in Taiwan. The choir conductor, Chen Yun-hung, is the art director of Taiwan Choral Music Center and musical director of Taipei Chamber Singers. She has won many awards as best cantor at international competitions in Italy, Belgium, Austria and Spain.
