Ten day specialty goods fair at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center
The ten day goods fair that displays specialty goods coming from all over the country and abroad is at display at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair is the Chinese people to do conventional shopping a few days before the Spring Festival.
The fair will be divided in four areas, each area will be displaying export goods, candy, wine and tea, international brand commodities and specialty goods. The fair organizers set up an on site complaint center making sure that the quality and quantity of goods that are being sold at the fair.
Specialty goods make migrant residents feel close to home, specialty products like milk wine from Xinjiang, Chengdu handmade candies, Chinese sausages from Sichuan and jujubes from Shandong. Specialty goods from foreign countries like Swiss candy and coffee and chocolate from United States also attracts number of visitors to the fair.
A Shanghai food wholesaler said that prices of Chinese food have already caught up with the cost of foreign foods, residents are more open to trying new things and willing to buy foreign foods for the Spring Festival. Goods from other countries are much cheaper than those made in China. Wu a wholesaler selling goods from Vietnam participated in last’s year Spring Festival and found out his goods sell well. Most of his buyers are buying the imported goods as to bring as presents for their relatives and friends.
