Campaign launched to catch illegal buses
Three cities will join forces and launch a 200 day campaign to catch any illegal bus services on 11 trunks roads which includes G107 and S359. The three cities namely Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou will offer rewards to those people reporting any illegal bus services plying this routes.
People who want to share information can call the city transport commission’s hotlines to report any violations and when their reports are confirmed, the proper authorities will reward them with 10,000 yuan. To make sure that there will be transport safety during the Universiade games, authorities will be launching the campaign two times a week to make sure that no illegal buses or private cars making any violations.
Since the implementation of the campaign the transport commission already have six reports on illegal buses using the trunk roads. A task force assigned on the G107 highway have also detained five bus drivers with Guangxi registered plates. Officers also regularly conduct inspection in bus terminals in the Longhua, Shajing, Songgang, and other areas to tackle the problems on illegal buses.
