How to manage corporate social risks in China

How to manage corporate social risks in ChinaManaging social risk is imperative for all business leaders in present day in China. Strikes and social unrest are occurring more frequently across China, a phenomenon accelerating this past year.

Recently, newspapers have even reported several conflicts in the Taiwanese and Japanese companies in Southern China, which have resulted in very substantial pay rises.

This presentation will provide an overview of China’s social, cultural and legal framework. We will then provide concepts and tools to help prepare you for doing business within China. Case studies will be used to highlight the importance of a management system and the role of a management team when dealing with social risks.
