Book corners to be scattered around the city

Book corners to be scattered around the city200 hundred book corners are being installed in different communities all throughout the city this year. these book corners sell books, organize charity activities and information to residents that are interested in buying books.

The first book corners were installed by the Shenzhen Haitian Publishing House the sponsor of the book corner programs in downtown communities and housing estates. On of the book corner was created to be a convenient platform for community residents that are avid readers and book buyers.

The book corner is called One meter Sunshine Haitian Book Corner is the first of its kind in the country that will gradually become a consultation center that provide residents with latest information on politics, economics, current events and culture. The book corner will also stage public activities from companies and government departments when they need to advertise or create public awareness for the residents. The book corners can also accept donations and will be providing jobs in the future.

A book corner will only occupy around six square meters and each corner can employ one to two employees. Right now the book corners are staging Universiade promotions organized by the city.
