Wu Peng wins over Phelps in 200m butterfly

Olympic star Michael Phelps of USA, placed fourth in one of his signature events the 200m butterfly as Wu Peng of China won the 1st place at the Michigan Grand Prix. Wu won in 1:56.62, likely safe for his spot on China’s Swimming team for the  World Championships to be held in Shanghai later this year.

Phelps, a world record holder, who won last month  on five of his events at the Indianapolis Grand Prix, faded to fourth place in the 200m fly as Wu Peng who swims head to head against him, was overjoyed with the victory.
