Student from Shenzhen Middle School tops Scholastic Aptitude Test.
A student from Shenzhen Middle School scored 2,390 points on Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with just 10 points off full marks receives 10 offers from different universities around the world such as the St. Andrews universities in Scotland as well as the Brown, Princeton and New York universities in the United States and Edinburgh.
Zhu Shangran, a Senior 3 student, has excellent performance in SAT and very active in school participating different social activities, has not yet decide which university offer he will accept. According to Zhu, Chinese students got high grades in mathematics since the subject is easy for them, reading more English Books and Websites can help Chinese students a lot in improving their difficulties in reading and writing.
Zhu is also member of the school’s student union and co-founded a campus magazine and won svarious awards for in debating competitions.
