10,291 new cancer cases in 2010
Chronic Disease Control and Prevention Center in Shenzhen reported that cancer patients increases 4.77 percent in 2010 compared to 2009 with a total number of 10,291 patients wherein 163 of them died from different diseases. One of the most deadliest cancer cases is the lung cancer, most common to men, and breast cancer for women, followed by cancers of the rectum, liver, leukemia, stomach, and thyroid cancer.
Smoking and drinking are the most common causes with a huge number of patients in lung cancer, stomach and liver cancer. For the past few years, number of thyroid center patients extremely increase most especially to women as a result of high pressure of life and work for the modern woman.
