Ex-convict arrested after posing as a policeman

An ex-convict was arrested by Luohu police after posing as a policeman to four women, collecting thousands of yuan. Liu Jianzhoun, a 34 year old  resident of Jiangxi, admitted that he  used a forged police card made by a friend of his in Gangxia in Futian District; police found two more forged identification cards after Liu’s arrest in his apartment on April 11th.

Liu was sentenced to into jail for 18 months in April 2009 for illegal possession of police uniforms and handcuffs that he used when posing as a policeman. Investigators also found that Liu had previously spent 9 years in prison for the same reason, posing as a policeman in 1998.

As police are considered trustworthy, Liu was able to gain the trust of the complainants and collect thousands of yuan from them without paying them back and was also romantically involved with them.
