Clinics for the 26th Universiade Athletes’ Village to Open in July

Clinics for the 26th Universiade athletes village will open on JulyIn preparation for the upcoming Shenzhen Universiade, clinics at the Universiade Athletes Village will start their trial operations this coming July before rendering medical services for more than 13,000 athletes and officials from different contries and regions.

The clinic has 12 departments in which the emergency and transfer department will be open for 24 hours a day and the outpatient department will be open between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. There are 265 doctors, nurses and pharmacist that will be serving the clinic, with all equipment and medicine to be delivered between May 15-31, all set up to begin operations in July.  Longgang People’s Hospital will also be offering emergency services to guests, athletes and staff of the events.

As of now, organizers are working on the dining hall of the Universiade Village that can cater to up to 3,800 people at a time.
