Cultural heritage to be showcased in this year’s fair
208 displays coming from 17 provinces and cities will be showing different products that showcases national and provincial intangible cultural heritage. These displays are located in the main venue of this year’s China International Cultural Industries Fair.
67 examples of national cultural heritage mainly traditional art, folk techniques, food and other traditional Chinese medicine, these will act as a platform for introducing Chinese cultural heritage to the world and to introduce Cultural knowledge to the international market. The event organizer received around 241 applications from companies that were interested in attending this year’s fair, with 33 of them to be featured in the fair subvenue.
Organizers are expecting around 12,000 buyers from 89 countries to visit the fair, with 1,896 delegations were chosen by the government and enterprises that will exhibit goods for the fair. The main venue for te fair will consist of nine exhibition halls that will highlight animation, intangible cultural heritage industrial design, fine arts and performances.
During the fair the organizers have set 479 activities to be performed and this will include a forum on cultural development, training for cultural professionals, new media and animation festival plus a ICIF art festival. Ticket for the fair is priced at 50 yuan for adults and 20 yuan for children and tickets can be bought at the main entrance of the fair.
