Aussie Rules Season Heats up in Shanghai

Australian Rules season heats up in ShanghaiBoth the weather and the Aussie Rules action are heating up. Join the Shanghai Tigers as they play their two biggest events of the year during the next two Saturdays.

All are welcome, with free buses leaving the Camel Sports Bar at 11.30am. Apart from the on-field action, there’s kids entertainment, full bar facilities and free Champagne for the ladies.

Shanghai Australian Rules Football Club Spring Grand Final, Saturday 21 May, 1pm – SRFC Pudong

Last year’s easy beats, the West Shanghai Dockers, have dominated the 2011 season by dropping only one match to finish on top of the ladder. See if they can withstand the challenge from the Crows and Eagles to take home the silverware for the first time.

Shanghai Tigers vs. Beijing Bombers, Saturday 28 May, 1pm -SRFC Pudong

The talk has been going for decades so it’s time to settle which city is best. Come and cheer on Shanghai as they host the annual grudge match against the tourists from the Capital.
