JCI to Accredit Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Once approved the hospital will become the country’s eighth hospital to become a JCI accredited hospital. During the four-day inspection, the team examined medical quality, procedural controls, patient experience and hospital management. The inspection team also solicited suggestions and opinions from patients and families.
One of the experts in charge of the accreditation said that the hospital has made great achievements and enhanced quality and services. Unlike other hospitals they offer special services, such as seeing doctors without line ups, and staff are not allowed to discuss patient information.
The hospital also meets patient demands in terms of food and other services, this caters mostly to expatriates and high income families. The hospital is very confident that they will get the accreditation from the JCI.
