White Horse Laboratories Week 20 Counterfeit Detection Report
Inspection: 68% Accept 65% Pass
The five-week ride in quality gains came crashing in Week 20 with testing pass rates falling from 79% in Week 19 to 65%, and acceptance rates following inspection dropped to 68% in Week 20 from 85% in Week 19.
Dragging down the numbers were mulitiple lots of the same part numbers being screened.
Even with the lower yields, volumes surged another 27%, fueled by Week 19′s year-high yields that shipped at the beginning of Week 20.
It will be interesting to see if yields in Week 21 recover from Week 20′s drop as we move towards the end of the month and the Memorial Day weekend in the United States.
