Tseng Captures Her Fourth Major LPGA Title
Twenty two year-old Tseng Yani won her fourth major title in an overwhelming display, finishing the final round with six under par 66 to capture the LPGA championship by ten strokes. She became the youngest player to win a fourth major career title. Tseng won the Kraft Nabisco and Women’s British Open and the 2008 LPGA championship.
Tseng finished the the game with a 19 under par 269 for a victory and her eighth career LPGA crown. Morgan Pressel an American was second on 279 with compatriots Paula Creamer and Cristie Kerr.
Tseng will have the chance to complete a career Grand Slam in the next two weeks during the U.S. Women’s Open in Colorado.
