Seasoned referees to render services in the Universiade gamesExperienced referees that served during the Olympics and Paralympics will render their services in the Universiade as judges.

According to the Universaide organizing committee,  Peng Hua would sit as the deputy chief table tennis referee for the games. Hua is the Head of the School of Physical Education at Hebei Normal University and part of the committee for the Chinese Table Tennis Association. Peng was a judge during the Beijing Universiade in 2001 and has been a referee for most of the table tennis games.

Since the Universiade is different from other sports events because it revolves among how communications works among the participants from different cultures. No matter how well or how bad the athletes will be doing during the games, this will be their chance to interact with peers.

The Universiade will also be including cycling in their repertoire of events and participants are already excited and looking forward to showing off their skills. Officials from the international cycling Union have already inspected and given their approval for the cycling facilities that will be used for the games.
