Residents can apply for visa endorsements onlineEntry and exit authorities have already shortened the time for approving visa endorsements for travel permits going to Hong Kong to three days. These move is one measure implemented by the police to benefit residents.

Interested applicants can submit applications by logging onto the official websites. A resident that mails their applications and apply online will receive endorsements in merely three days. Residents applying at exit-entry halls in each district can now apply online instead. They could also use online application machines installed at the halls, which are now open 24 hours a day. Shenzhen residents that don’t have Guangdong hukou needs to make a reservation online before applying for a travel permit going to Hong Kong.
