Volunteers Tasked with Helping Present Medals to Event Winners
350 volunteers have been assigned to assist with the medals presentation, all of them good looking, tall, polite and wearing big smiles on their faces. The volunteers were selected from universities across the country.
The volunteers all received training before the start of the games. The training consisted of fitness training and etiquette training. They all met the strict standards in the correct way to walk, smile and the way to hold the medals when presenting them.
Volunteers are proud of what they are doing and will continue to give services in other events in the Universiade. Although work is hard, they find fulfillment in what they are doing and considered it an honor to serve in the games.
This is also the first time that the medal presentation team had male members as part of the staff, assigned to accompany winners and guests to the award platforms. Having male members in the team showed the vitality of the young city.
