Sports venues to opened to the public

Sports venues to opened to the publicThe 22 new sports venues and 28 renovated venues that were used in the recently concluded Universiade games will be open to the public for their sporting activities. Some will be used as stadiums for schools and universities, and the government will be the one to pay for the utilities.

Some venues will be used for sports and cultural activities, the sports center in Longgang can be used for international basketball games and marathons. Other venues can be used for major musical concerts and exhibitions. Local companies that are interested in investing in the venues are welcomed since the venues can be used for commercial exhibitions as well.

Some venues will be turned into cultural and leisure centers, restaurants and entertainment facilities that will promote the development of sports in the city. The Dapeng Peninsula has already been upgraded, and more plans are in the works in making it an international tourist spot with hotels and conventions centers.
