Airlines to Recruit Universiade Volunteers as Flight Attendants
Local airlines have begun interviewing suitable candidates to fill in positions as flight attendants. The airlines have high hopes that they can recruit the volunteers that participated in the Universiade ceremonies.
Airline officials were impressed at how the volunteers handled the award ceremonies during the Universiade and many of the volunteers possessed the qualities that the airlines require. China Southern Airlines had already begun interviewing applicants at Shenzhen Polytechnic, while other airlines such as Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines are also planning to conduct interviews for applicants for flight attendants positions soon.
There were 85 candidates present during China Southern Airlines’ interviews and 62 of the applicants were female ceremonial volunteers. A spokesperson from the airline said that the volunteers were trained well for the Universiade games and once these applicants pass all examinations and interviews, the airlines can start their flight attendant training.
